A practice of family storytelling
Small histories, built for the people who come after.
This is where I put together family stories — grandparents, ships, houses, the small print of ordinary lives. Pieced together from real photographs, real documents, and real people who were actually there. Nothing invented, nothing overstated. Just enough research and care to make someone real again to the people who never had the chance to know them.
Each project starts the same way: a box of photographs, a document nobody's looked at closely in decades, and a few relatives willing to be asked questions. It usually turns into more than anyone expected.
Projects
More families, more stories — coming as they're ready.
